Founded in January 2022 by Ar. Nirali Mehta Gandhi, Dojo Design Studio, is a space where passion meets precision. We embrace the elegance of simplicity to craft environments that are sophisticated, functional, and thoughtfully attuned to the people who inhabit them.
At Dojo, we design with sensitivity—respecting your taste, budget, lifestyle, and everyday needs. We believe good design goes beyond aesthetics; it creates comfort, character, and meaning in every corner. Whether it’s a home, a café, or a workspace, our goal is to craft spaces that connect with people and leave a lasting impression.
Every project begins with a story, grows through collaboration, and culminates in a space that feels authentic, functional, and uniquely yours. Transparency and client involvement are at the heart of our process—because the best spaces are built together.
Since its inception, Dojo Design Studio has successfully completed around 25 projects of varied scale. The studio’s work has been featured on GoodHomes Magazine’s website and The Architect’s Diary, and Ar. Nirali has held a professional license since 2016.
About Designer
Ar. Nirali Mehta Gandhi is the Founder and Principal Architect of Dojo Design Studio. She completed her Bachelor’s in Architecture (B.Arch) from the Kamla Raheja Vidhyanidhi School of Architecture and Environmental Studies, Mumbai (2016).
With over 8 years of hands-on experience, Nirali has shaped her career across diverse design environments before establishing her own practice. She led projects as a Project Architect at Patch Design Studio (2018–2021), previously honed her skills as a Junior Architect at ADND (2016–2018), and first explored the field during her internship at The Drawing Room, Mumbai.
With a passion for creating spaces that are functional, elegant, and deeply personal, Nirali brings together architectural insight, interior design finesse, and a sensitive understanding of client needs to craft environments that are both sophisticated and uniquely tailored. Known for her creativity, attention to detail, empathy, and collaborative spirit, she loves to add colors, patterns, and textures to spaces, giving them life and character. She strives to create spaces that are dynamic and meaningful—where beauty meets purpose and imagination meets everyday life.
Beyond her professional expertise, Nirali’s personality deeply influences her work. A perpetual wanderer at heart, she draws inspiration from her travels, channeling the joy of discovery and the richness of new experiences into her designs. She is also “always water-ready”, carrying with her the calm, fluidity, and playful energy of the ocean—qualities that flow naturally into the environments she creates.
